Still time to visit The Big Show
If you have not yet had a chance to visit The Big Show, there is still time.
Allura Art’s first major collective exhibition runs until Thursday December 9, and is open to the public every day of the week at the Wignacourt Museum in Rabat.
Meanwhile, here’s a sneek peek…
The Big Opening
The Big Show kicked off with a bang with The Big Opening, a special event at which guests and artists of the show came together to enjoy the artwork and soak up the atmosphere.
A good reception
We are very pleased with the response so far, from some great feedback on social media to a first-class review from Ġorġ Mallia, artist and Associate Professor at the University of Malta.

The museum sees around 200 visitors per day from all around the world, many of whom leave comments in the visitors’ book.
Some background
The Allura Art collection launched in December 2020, following the devastation caused by COVID-19 to the Art Sector earlier that year. Allura Art - The Big Show is the result of a great deal of effort and determination on the part of many and represents the successful navigation though this challenging period by Allura and its artists.
You can read the story of Allura Art and The Big Show in the recent article in the Sunday Times of Malta.

More than just an exhibition
The Big Show is more than just a collection of beautiful paintings however, it’s part of the bigger Open Studios programme, which includes a video series featuring artists from the show.
