The Big Show video & Open Art Studios 2022

Double blog post!

In this latest blog post Allura brings you some exciting news about our plans for 2022, including yet another big art event later in the year. But before we get to that, we’ve put together a little throw-back video of last year’s big art event, The Big Show, to give you a taste of what to expect next time around.

The Big Show - the video

The Big Show video was filmed at The Big Opening, a special event at which guests and artists of the show came together to enjoy the artwork and soak up the atmosphere.

Open Art Studios 2022

The Big Show was more than just an exhibition however, it was part of the bigger Open Art Studios Programme 2021, which included a video series featuring artists from the show, called Artist Secrets.

Allura Open Art Studios Programme 2022

As part of our programme for 2022, the Allura team is pleased to announce that Artist Secrets will be returning for a second series.

Artist Secrets is growing! Series two will be produced on a much larger scale than the first series, and will involve more than twice the number of artists (and episodes) as series one.

The new series will also take a slightly different format. We will still be going behind the scenes with artists, but this time around there will be a greater focus on materials and techniques.

Details of the new series and of this year’s big event will be released in the coming months, so watch this space and we’ll keep you posted.
